I really do love all of the couples I get to work with. Capturing them at the engagement stage is so awesome and I hope the photos remind them of how joyous they were at that time…wedding planning is tough y’all! I went to middle and high school with Becky, and it was great to reconnect with her and meet Sam when we met up for engagement photos at the end of August. We started our session at the Z Lot (a personal favorite of mine) and finished up with some golden hour on Belle Isle. If only every sunset would serve us that well.

These two were SO FUN. Often times people get a little jittery and forget to laugh, but I literally didn’t have to do any work to make these two giggle and smile at each other while they just in-loved-it-up. It’s moments like those that are my absolute favorite (of my husband and me too honestly) — the photos where you are just staring each other down with some in-love eyes. Man, I hope everyone finds someone to look at in that way. Congratulations you two! You make an awesome couple!
