Goldner Walsh Family Session | The Cordles

As I’ve said time and time again, the best part of this job is being able to reconnect with SO many people from my past, including the Cordles! Carolyn and I went to school together since the fifth grade. We played softball together during the summers, and Mr. Cordle helped coach. I remember when her oldest nephew was a wee baby. So naturally, I was able to get them altogether for an extended family session for Mrs. Cordle’s Christmas gift. We did a Goldner Walsh family session in early November, which was perfect as the weather was just starting to turn.

Goldner Walsh also does weddings, but you can shoot there for $50 and the Cordles jumped at the chance. It truly is a gorgeous setting for photos and we enjoyed using many spots to get all the combinations in. Sometimes family photos can seem stuffy and boring, but I try really hard to get some laughs and interaction. The look here and smile thing gets old after awhile, especially when you’ve got teenagers who think they’re too cool for the camera.

I’m so glad we were able to do this session and I love how they turned out! I’m booking May and June sunset sessions right now…don’t wait until fall when the weather is honestly not as nice and my calendar isn’t as open!
